Greetings.

This is a beta cooked ROM, built from a beta OS, built from another beta ROM. It is a freakish nitemare of Windows Mobile 6.1, and 6.5. I try to keep it up to date as possible. Please note, later builds does not always mean better. 21234 is considered to be the 'rtm' build.

Everything appears to work. That said, there has not been heavy testing done. If you want fast and stable, go with my 6.1 rom. If you want bleeding edge, and aren't afraid of getting a few cuts (from a machette), try this.

As of 3.8, the current build is 21815.

As of 3.9, the current build is 21820.

As of 4.0, the current build is 23001.

As of 4.1, the current build is 23003.

As of 4.2, the current build is 23004.

4.2 series is now ready.
Thanks to kidgenius, we have:
Clinks, a Comm Manager
CHome, a notification center.
Thanks to Blazingwolf, we have clauncher.
Custom lockscreen and lockscreen caller ID thanks to viekko@Modaco.
Shokka's most excellent keyboard (Thanks shokka!)
No startup sounds, so that you can DIY with ease
No Windows Live (flaky performance, doesnt meet my qa standards)
Samsung Volume Control is back, with some subtle aesthetic changes
Titanium Weather 4.2
Opera Titanium Panel
Fave people Titanium Panel
HTC Task manager
Red selection hexxagon
Microsoft MyPhone
Microsoft Tag
Updated Opera 9.5
psshutxp
cleartemp
obexinbox
Fresh dialer skin
chfingermouse
Personalizer
touch enhancements
Modified pagepool to enhance performance

You will notice there are some redundant panels. This is because I can't make a choice for what you like. Titanium slows down, the more panels you have. It is to YOUR ADVANTAGE to disable the ones you won't use. They are easily disabled using Chome Editor, included in the rom. Market Place has been added in anticipation that it will be usable soon

Battery driver is the original cc20 driver, due to some complaining of detrimental effects with battery life. I will attach a cab to install the hacked drivers with 1% and 5% increments for those of us who like it.

Most samsung apps are removed. I try to keep the installed software as up to date as possible. There are several performance and battery enhancing hacks preinstalled.

There are three roms, Vanilla (Best for most), Base (for Power Users), and M2D (Somewhere in between).

Vanilla will give you your most *stock* WM 6.5 experience. Very little has been removed, and there has been added functionality. Check the above features, they apply to the Vanilla rom.

Base does not have:

Games
Office
Voice Commander
Remote Desktop
Themes were added back in due to api changes in the OS
Windows Live
Widgets
Livesearch (unless I forget Wink)
Im Selector
HTC Task Manager
Personalizer
ClearTemp
psshutxp
Titanium weather
Favorite Contacts
Clauncher
Opera Panel
Applications Launcher for Titanium
Office plugin
Opera
Transcriber
MS Tag
GPS Quick Position app

What remains:

That which is needed for functionality, and usability. Tweaks are left in. Advanced config is left in so people can tweak. Mortscript is left in for Sashimi users. Titanium is basically default.

M2D is built upon base, but includes:

m2dc
ssmaho
m2d
gmaps
icontact
HTC Task manager
Opera

4.2 Notes

I installed this ROM Saturday and it's been functioning great.  It's solved pretty much all of the issues I had with my stock Omnia.

Thanks for the hard work!

first off..... THANNKS SOO MUCH FOR THIS AWESOME ROM!!!

second, just a couple questions  :Smiley (im super new to using 6.5 and "flashing".... -_-)

I did flash successfully, BUT i noticed their were two files: Flash_adr_3_3.html and Flash_adr_3_3_base.html.  Which was I supposed to actually flash? I only did the Flash_adr_3_3.html.

You said the 1.4.1 version is more stable, can I flash from 3.3 to 1.4.1?  Or am I being stupid for flashing back (Im having some minor problems on this versions)

I LOVE this UI on the WM6.5 BUT I also love SPB3... I like my options open, so just wondering if SPB3 will still work?

THANKS AGAIN ADRYNALYNE!!! YOU ROCK!!!

You were right Smiley  Either or would work for you, the base is just a more stripped version (more free space, less pre-installed)

Yes you can.. The 1.4.1 is based on WM6.1, you can flash to any of the cooked i910 ROM's you'd like.

Yep, SPB MS3 will still work with 6.5 - I used it for a few days after my first 6.5 ROM and then stopped all together, I don't really have a need for it anymore with the UI enhancements in 6.5.

xT9 bug is a problem that cc20 brought upon us.  I can't fix it.  Every cooked rom will see this.

There is no built in analog clock in 6.5, so I can only guess its a panel you installed, and I have no idea why it would do that.

Ok on the xt9, figures but its no biggie, and yes i was talking about a panel, the canalogclock, it did this same glitch in wozzers rom too, it seems that when i make changes to pretty much any type of setting, when i return to the home screen it does this thing with the icons where they all get bigger so parts of it expand and return to normal over an over and i have to turn titanium off and on again to reset it.
Also I just ran thur this to make sure but i removed the email panel an text panel to have the message panel, but the message panel never showed up on the screen, and even tho it was listed in cHomeEditor, so i tried to remove that panel and put email and text back and neither email or text will reappear and those are listed aswell in chomeeditor? going to hard reset now and try removing those panels again an see if it happens again.

update: doh! looks like i removed, instead of disable those panels( after another HR i tried enable and disable email and text panels and they returned to the home screen, however the message panel still does not show up on the home screen even tho its listed in my enabled panels list in cHomeEditor , searched around and found the forum for the canalogclock know issues, i will post there for that now, sorry to bother...

hi there.  thanks for the instructions.  i have some questions as i am stuck right now.  i changed the phone setting to mass.  i opened active sync.  unchecked usb.  when i open umdl active sync closes.  opened it back.  unchecked.  had already extracted the rom.  pushed pda button.  loaded rom.  blue line went thru.  clicked detect.  turned phone on.  on phone screen is do not disconnect os flash image update.  on umdl  it has been stuck on writing image forever.  do i need to do anything else to active sync?  how long does this take?  its way over ten minutes.  thanks.
