I have 0.55 version and i'm experiencing wierd behavior - after few seconds LCD shuts down (i guess it is a normal behavior) but then i'm not able to wake it up, unless I dissconnect my headsets... (i tried every buttons, nothing helped) Its quite frustrating, because if I want to change a song, i have to unplug my headset, (phone playes automatically on speaker) and then i can plug them back and be able to change what I want... Does anybody know how should i wake my phone without disconnecting the headset?  If that is not possible with S2P is there a similar MP3 player that is more user friendly?

Are you also using S2U2? If so, you may need to turn on "Don't Suspend Power."
