i have a question similar to one that was posted a few questions down. I am having some problems syncing my music to my phone. I am running windows xp, i have activesync installed, and i have the proper usb settings on my phone to transfer files. I am able to sync my favorite and files without any difficulties, but upon trying to sync my media... it just doesn't happen. The sync process takes rouchly 15 minutes or so to sync each percentage (ie- 15 minutes to go from 1% - 2%). This just does not seem normal. The highest it will get up to is 9% before i get a sync error. Does anyone know what is going on?

I'd recommend moving your music to your phone via mass storage mode.  Go to settings -> connections -> usb connection mode -> change to mass storage and select either storage card or my storage depending on where you want to move the music.  Then it will just show up under My Computer on your PC as a removable drive.  Copy and paste whatever music you want.  This method is much faster than synching anyway.  When you're done moving the files put the connection mode back to ActiveSync.

Hope that helps.

Your advice worked perfectly! Thank you for your time and suggestion. I'd like to know why that part of active sync doesn't work.. but thats for another day. I'm just happy i can use this thing as an mp3 player now.
