Diamond Windows Media Player Skin (Portrait)

Edited poorlyduck's VGA/QVGA Diamond WM Skin for WVGA (Portrait). Tested on my Samsung i900 Omnia.

So far, it's only in Portrait mode. Landscape mode, coming soon.  Tongue

Special thanks to poorlyduck.

Hi everyone

so you can put the files on your device you will need to unlock the phone to allow modeifaction to the files

SYNC up with the USB cable, and open the application downloadable below

There is still no solution for this for a long time.

Somebody please suggest on how to make Omnia i900 to "see" the additional skin files loaded in the Windows Media Player folder.

Thanks.

You can copy the folder anywhere in your device including the Storage Card and it'll work. Open up registry editor in omnia and go to :
1. HKLM>Software>Microsoft>MediaPlayer>Skins
2. look for DefaultPortraitSkin
3. edit data with the location of your new skin
4. I renamed my Diamond folder to "WMP skin" and copied it to my Storage Card so I typed in the data field:
\Storage Card\WMP Skin\portrait.skn

Before you go see the new skin use Task Manager to close Media Player if its open.

Ok, so you copied the folder to the location you mentioned. Look up about 2 posts for a poster named Saloei. Read his easy install instructions and follow them. It should then work.

If you're saying you can't see the folder and so you can't do any registry editing, then ActivSync and see if you see the folder from the Explorer in ActivSync.
