Hi Guys!

Has anyone of you tried to run Android in your omnia 2 using HaRET? I can't run it on my Ominia2.

Its a concept in progress. I'm very interested in the Andromnia project and the sister project for the Omnia II. Everyones always saying this phone is so customizable and hackable, this is just proof of that.

Have you tried following the directions on modaco? I'm afraid I can't help you with more than that, as I have an i910 and am not very familiar with the technical side of the project.

little bit of info guys....

http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-http-omnia-modaco-com/297461/andromnia-android-for-the-samsung-omnia/

The andromnia project has been going on for a long time...they still dont have a running (i say running; i mean fully usable OS) OS on Omnia I.

So i doubt very much that they have made much, if any progress getting it working on Omnia II.

You need more than a Haret kernel to get it working. You need numerous drivers, lots of blood, sweat and many tears, just to get it to boot.

As kawgirlval69 says, it isnt worth the posting Tongue

Do what i did, get an Android phone Cool too.

** I by NO means, disrespect any work done, going to do, by any members working on the Andromnia projects and i salute them for their hard work and efforts in an attempt to get a working Android OS on the Omnia. **

Good luck.

Here's the post I was looking for http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-ii-gsm-rom-discussion/298997/android-on-omnia-2/. There should be some instructions on how to run it, but I don't know how far they've gotten on the O2. Good luck!
