Look in the ROM section.

You're welcome. If you want to know about the operating system i.e updates, custom versions etc look in the ROM section, because that's what the operating program of your phone and Windows is called.

OK, just checking, I don't know much about who uses what in the Americas i8000 or i920 because they use totally different ROMs.
Can't you use a UK ROM as I think your grammar and spelling is the same? I take it that you have bought this phone without a contract? If you have a contract take it to the shop and they should flash it with the new ROM for you.

No, the United Kingdom. In the UK they use the i8000 and in America use the i920. The two ROMs are not interchangeable.
 You have an install CD?

I have a Polish bought phone which I flashed to a Singaporean ROM. It's not important about which country it is as the main difference will be the language. I have the ROM for Singapore because it was newer than the UK version with some improvements.
Where did you buy the phone, in a Canadian shop or on the web from another country?

Go to this link http://www.modaco.com/content/i8000-omnia-ii-gsm-rom-discussion/293492/secanys-i8000-wm65-rom/

You need to download an installer called  OCTANS. Just flash the PDA portion of your ROM. If you don't understand what I just said you should think twice about flashing  Grin
