52. Proper hard reset

This is how ive found works best and there is a hitch at the end that im unsure if anyone notices but will cause the phone to function strange

DO the *2767*3855# and it freezes then goes off.  Heres where some may be doing things too fast.  The phone will reboot and go to the tap to calibrate screen.

                          Just LEAVE THE PHONE ALONE!!!!

The phone will reboot a second time.  This time you can calibrate and go to setting up the phone.  If you dont the phone will function like crap.  Very laggy, choppy and will crash alot!!  Take it from me  ive reset mine probably a hundred times...

same applies to the vol up, lock, send, end....  hold till triangle...select format...   this way just doesnt delete your my storage files....   not a complete reset....

Hi all, this was my post in the Introduce Yourself. And from there they navigated me here.Well this is my problem:

"Hi all, well to introduce myself. "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... Cheesy I was born in Slovakia it's in Europe. Maybe in the East of Europe. I was a Nokia fanatic to all. But once when I bought the "new" Nokia 5800 I become very sad. For this reason I was searching www to find the best solution for my criterias. To be a fast to have a good camera, to have to most pumped up operating system mobile. At least I found the Samsung Omnia II i8000 in Hungary. It is south from us. Well I bought it. It was a beautiful mobile I ever seen.
I was pleased with the software engineers from the samsung and microsoft. But once I found a problem it is a bit laggy. I was watching a video on you tube, where it was compared with iphone 3gs at it was loading the pictures muc more faster, the reason it was writen there the memory amount. But for God it is weaker than my sweet Omnia 2.
Can anybody tell me how can i speed up my Omnia?I know I can speed up my processor speed, but it's not enough. Or maybe I could somehow increase my amount of memory. I would be pleased with a good answer.
Please Help me.
Thank you! GZA from Slovakia "

53.  .Net Framework 3.5 tweak for wm 6.5 roms

after 3.5 insatalld it doesnt seem to become active in the 6.5 rom.
in the registry it will show off and you have to manually turn it on.

heres how..  reg editor needed...(i use ce reg editor because it is

       change 3.5.7283.00 from 0 to 1
wait appx 30 sec... then just soft reset the phone

hope it helps  props to modaco peeps for confirmation...

Hello every one,

I'm an older Dutch guy, reading English is hardly a problem but writing .... well lets hope you understand my question.

I'm using the Omnia GT i8000 for a week now and tweaked it almost to my satisfaction.
The only troubele I have is, is setting the ringtone louder.

I used the settings shown by typing *#0002*28346#, as mentioned earlyer in this topic, works fine, but doesn't do it for my ringtone.

used google alot this week en stumbeld across a code that showed settings not by changing 1000110101 settings but by editting db settings if i'm correct the settings for ringtone are -1,5 db.,and wow it was loud, code  was much shorter than the above *#0002*28346# , but can't find it anymore with my friend google's help  Cry

why do I need it again if I set it al ready? hmmm I'm new on winmo foons  so after many many hard resets becouse I f*** op my foon I'm now very pleased with it en its looks en apps, exept the loudnes of my ringtone, everyting is louder exept ....

pls can someone help me.

TY

I just installed the compass to my i8000. It seemed to install ok but when I tap the icon I only get a blank white screen. Can anyone suggest why?

Try to swipe over the screen. Sometimes an exception is thrown (an error is displayed) in white over white and only selecting the text reveals it.
