You just move to the second screen then change settings like you did for the first one. WinMo only seems to recognize the current screen.

Thanks ...

... to change the backgrounds is easily, but my question is :

"How to disable the background ?" in order to have only a black color. I think the phone lags due to these background pictures.

Thanks again !

It lags when you have lots of other programs running in the background. Have you checked what's running using Task manager?

Hello kawgirlval69,

I don't have any programs running in background. The phone lags a little bit, but I must to precise that the CPU is set to Low. In this case, the battery is OK = 4-5 days for a normal use (calls, sms, agenda).

I say that because my colleague has a HTC HD2 and this phone is very very speedy.

Thanks !

Haven't you just answered your own question about lagging? Grin

kawgirlval69,

I agree with you ... but just partially (concerning the lagging), because even on High Performances the phone lags. For example when I change the three main screens, the icons don't appear instantaneously.

The comparison with HTC HD2 is not the best, because it has a 1 Ghz CPU and its price is around 550 €. Unfortunately, even HTC Diamond 2 and HTC Touch 2 are more faster than Omnia II.

But I must accept that Omnia II is more sexier and the graphical interface is more convivial than HTC.

Best regards !

When I change screen for the 1st time then some icons load very slightly after the others but when I re enter that page they all load at the same time. Maybe it's a Cache Memory thing? Maybe the other phones have a larger Cache and so the icons don't ever get cleared from the Cache.
