This thread will be under constant changes and additions in the near future, getting less frequent as we get a better understanding of the capabilities of the Omnia.

The Aim: What I hope to achieve here is simple, what programs are you using that work? Which don't? Which conflict with others? Ideally we want to find a harmony between programs so not to have to Hard Reset all the time!

The Posts: How I would like you to respond is simple.

Omnia Type: (i900 or i910? You will start to see the forum split very soon)
Rom Version: (Very Important)
Software: (Give details as needed. Be precise and to the point. Give info on what you tried, how you fixed it, etc. Every little detail will help)

I would also like you to make comments upon previous posts or information here in this first post which you agree\disagree with.



I will be personally undertaking this project, but myself and the other moderators will closely monitor this post and decide on the information to use.

I hope you can all get on board with this concept and really give us some good feedback to work with!

Maybe, G-Alarm was having the problem with another application or vice-versa? It seems stable for me now with the newest version 0.9.8!

shokka, how would you know that ApptoDate is working? Does it work silently in the background?

I assumed from the title that there would be applications in this that would be identified that work or don't work.
So, I will post my list of what works on my Omnia:
1. These work:
    a.  SPB Applications which are all the latest Versions/Releases:
     SPB Backup
     SPB Diary
     SPB PocketPlus
     SPB Traveler
    b.  Miscellaneous (These Work:)
     1-Calc
     LoanAssist
     MemMaid
     SKTools
    Soft Key Applet
    Today Radio Device
    TotalCommander
    WisBar Advance

2.  These I cannot get to work:
    a.  TCMPlayer 0.72R and it would not work. I will look for a new Player that plays Mpeg and WMV . Any suggestions?
    b.   Smart Dial BigKey Black and that did not work either.

Will continue to install other Apps and list them here.

***I did download and install CorePlayer and could not get it to work. I did an uninstall and reinstall to no avail. Apparently, there is a compression ratio difference with the I900.
***I did not get my music to play via my BlueTooth and I believe that there is because Samsung uses Serial and the only BT that is compatabile (FOR MUSIC) is a Samsung BT device.
    b.   Smart Dial BigKey Black and that did not work either.
