HH9 for Italy Right now, all italian users are sitting at Munich's Oktoberfest, so this release is completely useless (for now) I'm wondering when Samsung is going to release a new German Firmware.......... cheers and congratulations for all lucky upgraders... das_spektakel

I got my Omnia in Belgium. I haven't updated my Omnia at all. The current version is HHB. What is the different among those official release versions from different country? What are the consequences if I update from those countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Italy, etc.)? (I prefer to have English version for my Omnia, anyhow.)

Finally, I've managed to upgrade my german Omnia firmware by myself. Before:German, unbranded PDA: XGHG5 / BHHG6 Phone: XXHG3 After:German, unbranded PDA: XGHI5 Phone: XXHG3 Works perfectly, no errors so far!!! For upgrading, I used: - USDL GrandPrix v1.6.1 Vista - Samsungs original Modem Driver - i900XGHI5.img (which I've located in a Modaco-Forums-thread For legal causes I don't upload these files directly!!! Search at Modaco! 1 ) Backup all your personal Omnia Files 2 ) Install Samsung Modem Driver 3 ) Disable Vista's UAC 4 ) Restart PC 5 ) Turn off your Omnia and connect it to your PC 6 ) Open GrandPrix and load IMG File 7 ) Press "Detect" and turn your Omnia on 8 ) Cross your fingers For some unknown reasons, I had to repeat this procedure three times before all files have been written successfully to my device........ I'm not responsible for any crashes, errors, problems, hangs, glitches or loss of any data concerning this update procedure!!!cheers das_spektakel

Guys, I'm confused! I have PDA: XXHHD/ACHH3 and PHONE: BUHH2. What does this all mean? Which one of these relates to the versions at the top of this thread, and would I benefit from upgrading to the Singapore ROM?

My phone is from Singapore and it has version i900DXHG4. I thought all the Singapore Firmware would have a "DX" in it's name, but now I see that even on the official Samsung site, the current version for Sigapore is now i900DZHH3. Very confusiing, but I am taking the plunge now that HH3 is "Official".

your version is newer than all official updates. so do nothing and be happy.
Thanks for that. Is it the 'PHONE' ident that people quote, or is it the 'PDA' number? So, in my case, do I have ACHH3 or BUHH2? Thanks again.
