 Dynamic Nature Theme

Creator : maxycy

This theme utilizes the AM/PM concept to change the background from day to night. The icons has been changed to blue to fit the theme. As I put this up very quickly, pls let me know if I missed any files.

can this work for the i900L version?

JASTECH managed to install it, so it should work fine. BUT You will need 20MB of free storage space for the base M2D, and some more free space for the additional themes. If you're low on space, and want to try out something new, you might want to create an installer, that has the theme included (check my link for the M2D install creator).

EDIT: wouldn't it be useful to post installable cab's for these themes? This way the needed space can be minimized which is something a must for i910 users without clean ROM's.

EDIT2: Question to someone who owns an i910! Is it possible to replace files in the Windows directory with 0 bytes variants (for example replace fmradio.exe with a 0 byte fmradio.exe)? If yes does it increase the avaialable storage space? If yes, then I could create an application that would clean out the ROM after flashing.

Just tried, and unfortunately, it did not increase available storage space.

sztupy, Yes that would make it easier for them to install. Many are getting confused because Win.rar has it's icon over the file and they don't know it's a .cab but I don't know what else to use.

The All-In-One Installer .cab is still working fine except I need to find a "slide Lock" that will work. S2U2 caused too many problems with G-Alarm and I like G-Alarm (I think).

Also when using the Installer it grabs the zip files no problem for the Themes, or are you talking about something different?

Thanks, JASTECH τΏτ

Was it just fmradio.dll or truncating other files (like .png, or even etc) don't work either?

One more try: what will happen if i910 encounters a signed cab?
Install certs first, then the testremoval. It tries to remove powerpoint (2MB of space) Only do if you don't need powerpoint of course Smiley

I'm talking about the install creator found at my site. You have to put the files of the themes there, and it will create a cab for you. No M2DC and such is needed.

Manila2D Install Creator       Thanks to sztupy for such a awesome program!

This application will let you create a custom Manila2D All-in-one installer.

Usage:

   1. Download the package
   2. Extract it to a directory
   3. Download a skin for M2D (MobileMatt themes should work fine for example)
   4. Copy the contents of the skin in the M2D directory.
   5. Edit the HTCHomeSettings.xml (optional)
   6. Run Create_Manila2D_installer.bat
   7. If everything goes well you'll get a setup.cab. Copy to your device and install. See Manila2D U19b All-in-one install guide if unsure
   8. Enjoy

Manila2D Update 19b all-in-one installer

For information about the Automated M2D Install creator check below!

This cab will install M2D on an Samsung Omnia i9xx

This installer includes: SharedDLL, Contactfix, HTC Album, Audiomanager, Outlook enhancements, Google Maps, Manila 2d (update 19b) + patch, MBarivan touchflo skin, youtubeplay, album and audiomanager fix.

This installer does not include: Comm Manager, PsiDOC Wifi-all

Current issues found so far (after a hard reset on a mostly-clean HL2 ROM):

    * Wireless Networks button under settings does not work
    * No link to google maps and youtubeplay under start menu

The latest version uses a fake CommManager which will run Favorite Settings instead of Opal Commmanager. Because Favorite Settings is made for the Omnia, you should use it. (it's included in the HL2 ROM, but you can find cab version @MoDaCo. If you do want to use CommManager though, you may simply install Opal Commanager on top of this release.
Setup guide

   1. Hard reset (might not be nescessary, but you need at least 20MB of program and device memory)
   2. Disable everything on the today screen
   3. Install opera if not installed (15233 should work fine)
   4. Install Manila2D 19b all-in-one by SztupY.cab
   5. DO NOT LET THE DEVICE GO TO STANDBY DURING INSTALL!
   6. Set the theme and background (optional)
   7. Soft reset (might be optional, but advised)
   8. Enable Touchflo on the today screen
   9. Enjoy (optional)
