I have been reading this site and have learned a lot about my i900 I purchased it on e-bay. I have att here in Pa USA. It works great eccept I cant figure out the wifi just yet. It connects to my neighbors  wifi but not mine?? I get an average of 5-7 wifi sites available to me in my house. (most locked by security) but it finds them. Also the GPS  gets 7-9 sat. locks, here inside my house. It has pin point accuracy, I was messing around with it while hunting and it found me very quickly, 1-2 minutes. sats. only, no cell tower fixes.
It seems that a lot of people have purchased i910 and have found this forum looking for "samsung omnia" but it seems verizon took out all the fun features. (why I got an unlocked version) I am not real pc or ppc savy. I just wanted a good phone, good camera, GPS, mp3, and internet. (that card reader is awesome!!) Its all here in the I900.  I followed your advice and raised the volume, downloaded the touch task manager. I can get the $15 data plan instead of the $70 plan since its unlocked and not branded . My i900 seems to have better than average features, like a good alarm. and a few other fixes for complaints I have seen here. I am not sure what build I have??  I forget how to find it.. one thing that ticked me off,  I synced my phone to my pc and it erased all my contacts extra info.. like home phone, e-mail, addresses.. not real sure what happened there?? I do not have outlook?
SORRY if this is the wrong place and wrong time but thank you to all of you who have posted great advice for the i900.  A great big thank you to all!!
but anyway it seems that a lot of people got a omnia that has a lot missing from verizon?? no real GPS

Ya, I have been reading through more than I would want to, in order to become an informed buyer of the Omnia, but I am seeing the major differences you have pointed out here between the i900 and i910.  It's almost making me want to spend the extra money on an overseas version rather than get my discount and much less expensive phone directly through Verizon.
What to do?!
It seems the i900 (overseas) version is so much more opened, less restricted.

Any good deals on the overseas version i900, for around $150?  That's what my final cost would be through VzW for the i910.

...Darn...

I have a $75 a month plan with att for 3 phones, mom, my son, and I.  plus $15/mo. for my  phone data plan. if I got the att samsung phone for $180, 2 year contract, with the 70 a month plan. that would be $700 I paid for the phone if purchased from att. Thats with out all the real i900 extras..GPS for one. (oh its $35 mo X 24 mo. = 840 for unlocked, or $70 mo. x 24 mo. = 1680, thats 840 for a lesser omnia if purchased through att) I payed $380 on e-bay for my omnia.
Oh and my lock buttons.. If i lock the  phone from my end call button. It locks ALL the keys, even the volume buttons!! But again thank you to all for the "raise the volume " settings. its great I can now listen while working (I do plumbing work, I keep my phone in my pocket and play my mp3's) I looked at verizon and they have great phones but I am happy with att..and my i900!!

I think the AT&T version Incite only has a 3mp camera and that is old school as I posted a Omnia here that has 8mp camera. What's next?
