I attempted an upgrade of my Aus badged phone via the Singapore configuration but no dice. Got a message saying an update is not available for your phone. Tried it using an XP setup via VM ware on my Vista 32bit rig and then via Vista itself.

Javad, I got the same problem!!! Downloaded NPS 1.4 and tried 3 times: the proccess worked until step 4. Then the cellphone turn off, activeSync lose connection and nothing more happens! The installation counter remains on 0%.
I've tried with XP and my phone is: XXIH5, XSOIH1, DXIH2.
Any help would be fine!
Thanks!!

I guess we'll have to wait until "official" release of the update for the Omnia 2.
On the Microsoft's website ( http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/en-us/meet/wm65-upgrade.mspx ) the date for the upgrade is set in December (the page was updated on December 1st)

I don't own the phone yet, but I hope I'll buy one with WM 6.5 to save the trouble.

Best of luck Wink

try to select your country or nearest to the selection from this link below:

http://www.samsungmobile.com/

then from there look for the sw update for omnia 2..
it could be that the NPS from sing has a codes on the program that checks first if the phone version are correct for a certain country and if not, it will stop the updating..
