Mine will be with WM6.5.
First thing I will do is dump the ROM.  Wink And upload it.
It's a german ROM, don't know which languages and features are included.

i can confirm the samsung rom is terrible, lts of usless features . drove me crazy for the first hour, as i had to search for ways of turning of bleeps and vibrations every time you touch the screen or look at the phone . i dont need it to entertain me (i could get an iphone for that) i want it to be functional . so im now running the basic winmo 6.1 and praying for 6.5 soon ...... anyone?
the thing i miss the most from the htc rom  would have to be the access to taskmanager/switcer in the topright corner of the screen , thought this was a winmo thing till now , was really handy , hoping for this feature in 6.5
i must say after dissing the rom , the phone is great .

Hi
I finally sold my Omnia2 and bought and OmniaPro because I really needed the keyboard and now I am happy with it. Any news about rom upgrade? Samsung PC studio says "not compatible device" bla bla bla....
I really liked WM6.5 Omnia 2 ROM.....  Cry

I heard the official ROM in Germany will be released in mid-october so If it is true there is little time to wait. I'm not so expert in ROMs, is the procedure to install the new ROM the same as the procedure explained on Modaco to install cooked ROMs for the Samsung I8000?
