question about any of these roms from people who have them ... I have one program that seems to have been removed from every rom made so far, that is the visual voice mail, which i really like. I want to upgrade to one of these roms but i'm wondering if this means i will loose my visual voice mail. Nothing i hate more than dealing with the old VZW call in voice mail system.

You have to use the samsung flashing utility... I think it'd be a little risky to try to use Wine, but I can't say that it won't work.. Check on modaco or xda to see if anyones flashed using linux.. I boot to vista for flashing, but I can't say it hasn't been done.. never looked into it

If you are referring to the "leaked" 6.1 ROM that all these other custom ROMs are being built off of then yes they will care. However, I have read in other places where omnia owners have bricked their phone and that if you just act "dumb" like you dont know what happened that verizon will send you a new device. I dont know since I havent tried that, just hearsay. And yes, it does void some part of your warranty. Hope this helps!!

I'm gonna give Adrynalyne's 6.5 ROM a shot either tonight or tomorrow morning, expecting great things WoZZeR's got enough fanboys lol I have adrynalynes 6.5 v 2.7 its nice... seems alot more stable than wozzers 6.5 build... I have tried wolfs(6.1) wozz(6.5) and now adry's(6.5 v 2.7)... I like wolfs clean build... wozz has some nice features.... adry's seems to run very nice with no issues and it loads after soft reset pretty quick (other than i cant find google maps)...maybe he didnt install it on this flash... i need to go read his build list to b certain...but im not allowed on the geeks site while at work
