Guys not sure if you saw yet, but Verizon released the update for the i910. It is on their website, I downloaded and updated it last night and it works beautifully! Lots of cool little mods that were definately needed! Go check it out on the Omnia support page!

Ok i'm a newbie here. I downloaded a rom and when done it says its a bin file. When i click on it my computer doesn't have a program to open it. How do i get it to the phone?

I just upgraded my Verizon 910 to ROM version CF03.20961. I noticed a few things today.
1. The phone runs alot hotter than it did yesterday. I normally need to charge it every other day. Now it is not lasting 24 hours. I hardly used it today, much less than I normally do. I must have something set wrong.
2. What happened to the flashlight? Turned on via pushing and holding the volumne Down button.

Thanks for the response. then can you plz plz tell me how i can enable the GPS to work with Garmin? i want to install Garmin 2010 but the GPS does not pick it up and only the google map so far works?
any links for the Gramin software and how to get it to work?

Since AD is taking a break from ROM building I am wanting to try someone else's work until he comes back. Does anyone else makes base ROMs like AD's? I want bare minimum, that way I can really customize my phone.

I posted this in the the AD's Kitchen room. I went to Modaco and downloaded and installed HARTV's ROM. I really like it. It is like AD's 4.0 but with things working (no fault of AD's...he even said it wasn't good). I might try BGill's this week....but for right now, I am liking it.

Where is the Omnia support page on Verizon's site? I can find the "Omnia Page" from my Verizon account, but there is no mention of the update. Has this been removed?

This is a good thread. Is it possible for the mods to update the first post with all the latest and greatest ROMs, since the OP hasn't done it. Possible start a new thread to take over the ownership? The links are very outdated in the first post. Thank you!
