Sorry didnt know where to post this but the guys down at Modaco did it again!

They Found a Way to run Android on there omnia's (i910 & i900 im going to try it right now

Thats pretty cool. Still looks really buggy but once they get it up and running it should be nice. As much as I don't like microsoft I think I'll stick with WinMo for now, unless they get Android up and running in a full version. I already have a similar layout through SPB mobile shell, the only reason I would got to android is for the apps and I like to support open source and linux.

Same here, The cool thing is that your running it through an emulator so you have windows mobile and Android.

Im only gonna do it for the apps, that is until microsoft comes out with a good appstore Tongue

It would be nice to rub it in the face of my friends with a G1. Especially since the G1 only has 256 mb of memory and can't run apps off an sd card  Tongue

Just for the record, you can't really do anything with it.  It's just the developers way of giving a sneak peek.  It also doesn't change anything on your phone.  Just soft-reset and you're back to normal.

Nope It Wont change anything, its just as if you were running a Playstation Emulator lol, u just need to soft reset(press the reset button) and it will load wm

same here, but i just cant seem to format my memory card properly
like i can get it to ext2 through running a live version of ubuntu but i cant
copy the files to the memory card after it just says that i do not have the
right permissions to copy Sad
