Hello Everyone,
i've been trying to flash my phone and i think i did everything according to the guide but for some reason USDL Grandprix just wont start downloading.. it's been stuck on Downloading image... for 15 min now.

Im only at the eboot part now.

log:

Device name:
EBoot version=00.ZH
Start downloading...
PDA-Starting updating EBOOT...
PDA-Downloading EBOOT...

-------

Firewall is off.

any ideas what it could be? thank you.

im trying to install the dutch ROM from this thread

and my current version is.
PDA : i908ZHHH2
PHONE : i900XXHJ5

also tried it on a XP and i get the same thing...

I tried the methods here

tried the DXHH1 (same problem) and i cant find the DXHG3 anywhere.

First of all when you load the files into Grandprix you need to put in the Loader the file: eboot.nb0, in the PDA section: pda.bin and on CSC: customer.csc, that's why you couldn't instal it and it freezes to the Omnia screen, I lost an hour to figure this out. Also after you detect the phone and you click on Start downloading, it will reboot again and you need to click it once more.

And now my Omnia I900 is alive again!

PS: I had to right click every program and go to compatibility, run this program in windows vista mode and I checked run this program as an administrator.

Hi guys and gals! I carefully followed your steps for step 1 to the last where I'm stuck. When I mount everything I need to mount in Grandprix and then restart my phone nothing happens. It still says "waiting for the device"?. Someone help me please cuz I wanna try to flash my Omnia for the first time.

Normally I tried that first but nothing happened. The problem was the same. Anyhow I finally managed to get the Windows 7 to recognize my Omnia as Omnia not as Windows Mobile Network Adapter. I unchecked the option under Omnia-Settings-Connections-USB to PC-Enable Advanced Network Functionality. After that I followed the steps again and after restarting the phone the Grandprix stopped working. Restarted the computer and it keeps consantly doing that. Further help needed...

Ok, I tried all the steps mentioned in this theme on another computer and now it works. Now my question is do I need to know anything about version of original firmware of my Omnia and cooked roms? My version is PDA: XXHJ4/MRHJ3 and PHONE: XXHI5.

Not really as if you don't like the custom ROM then you can flash another. Backup contacts, etc, first.

Re flash it, the first part of the flash is the most important and at the stage yours stopped at it 'should' be OK to just re flash the phone.

I have managed to run te program again but when instal get done JOB FINISHED
phone restarts and again i have win 6.1 and everything is the same like it was.
Whats about that?

The one I have is 6.1 but it's fast and has some nice things in it like a very good call recorder, equaliser, etc.

Was try DTHJ5 and 21686.

Can you recomend me rom 6.5 windows? I have windows 7 ultimate on my laptop.
