that's because there is no download for this version. it's an old one. i listed the latest ones only.
your phone (DX) is from Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore or Vietnam. except for vietnam there are upgrades for all.

it's in the first post. http://fus.samsungmobile.com/omnia/sea/sp/i900DZHJ1_updater_xp.EXE
try it. it could happen that it shows an "incorrect version" error.

The above doesn't work for me or on any branded ROMs I believe.  I wish it did!

Not sure what you mean. Use Active Sync for what exactly?

Sorry William, you're misunderstanding the problem.
If you try to flash with a ROM from a different region, branded phones get the 'incorrect software version, please check phone' message. The 'fix' posted above putting codes in via the keypad works for some to change your phone's region, but not for me. (Nor I believe any branded handsets.)
I am trying to find an alternative method of changing to Singapore region.

hi
to get rid of the incorrect software version message,
you must upgrade to the portugese rom ich5 using grandprix.
allow phone to boot up as normal,
then allow it to restart after hidden config
go through device setup,
go to the keypad enter the code to enter menu.
then change the contry options to singpore, thereafter upgrade to any rom you want!

this works as i believe theres no branding on this rom.
doesnt work on tmobile uk version either
have fun.

hi everybody nice forum!
