It is not listed as supported by Microsoft. It is not looking good. Omnia II, looking good...not ours.

Now we are 2 weeks further, and today, at least here in the NL-ds, Microsoft has released her WM 6.5 ROM. Does this mean we will be getting somewhere soon?

Techzine.nl (translated to English)

Nope. Only the three by Samsung announced Omnia's will get a WM6.5 upgrade. Not the i9x0

I know and understand that, but could it still somehow be ported to the omnia? Like with a custom rom or something like that?

I suppose it can. Just wait patiently.I am not very interested in a cosmetic upgrade.
