hi

I just got my omnia 7 phone and have lost alot of money from the internet and i cant seem to turn it off. can anyone tell me how to do this please as im sick of hitting the wrong button and connenting to the internet.

i only want the internet when im connected to wifi

I think there is no direct cure. Maybe mobile operators can assist or you can search in market for useful tool to prevent phone to go online by it self.

Other option is to add limited quota of MB to your account - at least 100 MB per month.

Too bad nobody replied to your problem, since it's easy to solve. I'm just new to this forum so I'm going to answer your question now since I couldn't have done it earlier.

I assume you mean to turn off internet via your cell provider, so 3G and the like. Easy to do!

Go to Settings, tap 'mobile network' and switch 'Data connection' to off..... yes, it is that easy.

Now, when you have WiFi connection you have internet; if you don't have a WiFi connection you don't have internet.

Hope you didn't throw your phone away already Wink
