Hi,

My screen is not perfectly aligned so I am trying to align it using the "align screen". The problem is that I start clicking on the "+" sign, it goes to all the corners and then starts again from the beginning, and then again.. I did it for 10 times then I did a soft reset because I was stuck!

I tried the whole scenario 3 times and I am still stuck!

How to fix this problem?

Use something like a toothpick, or thumbtack.. It repeats if it doesn't get consistent responses.

Did you try a hard-reset and see if the problem exists after that?  If yes, I'd chalk it up to hardware.  See if you cna get some warranty repair work on it

I did not try hard reset before.

Is this the last thing I can do before I use my warranty card?

Whenever I align my screen I have to do it alot and then it finally finishes.  A couple of tips:
Don't just tap the crosshairs, make if firm and deliberate, hold it there for a second.  Also, I think it has to do it several times to get a good average, because it seems if you aren't hitting it squarely it takes longer.  When I started touching the crosshairs for at least two seconds I think it picked it up better and didn't take as long.  I could be wrong but it worked for me.  Hope I wasn't too confusing!!!!!!!

i went to samsung's service center and got the whole touch panel replaced at no cost. now the screen is a whole lot more responsive and accurate, even with a screen protector on it. i'm sure you'd be happy with the end result, only takes an hour for the technician to replace them. Smiley
