Can’t play
Movie Clip
.rmvb
avi
Divx
Flv

Wizard,

Out of the box the Omnia can't play flv, but kinoma can. Give kinoma freeplay a try. I had the full version on my 700P and I really liked it.
I'm using the free version now to play my old flv files.

Hi Pyr0, I've installed Samsung Widgets, but did not noticed any modifications to the default widgets. What is the difference in this version ? Can the widgets be modified (added or deleted) ?

@ bfree

there shouldn't be any difference, the cab at that site is for the ROM DrDot makes. He removes stuff like that (like i do) and then supplies the cabs if people wish to install the different apps.

There are new widgets, but only on the latest HL2 ROM, i use that ROM, but i strip all that out, i have no need for widgets.

There are nice new ones, like accuweather. Google it if you want to know more.

 Cool

I just found out yesterday that you can set youtube play to handle all flv files.
I have a few from before my Omnia days (treo 700P) and Kinoma played them just fine. Kinoma for windows mobile has issues with some of the files.
I set youtube play to handle all of my flv files and it plays all of them including the ones Kinoma won't play.

Hi is there a way to get Core player to be the default player?  If not how to you get to watch vids online.  I also have the youtube player which works out fine but only with youtube as you can imagine.

At #08 My omnia can watch youtube using Opera, I think the only thing I have done is installed flashplayer7 but im not sure if this is what's making it work as i've never tried youtube before i installed the flashplayer.  hope this helps.  GPRS costs heaps though if you don't have a data plan

At #4 This happens on my Omnia too, and it really annoys me, is there any way for the volume of the ringtone to start at max volume rather than gradually building up to max volume.

Thanks

No solution till today although I have search, found twice, tried but still fail.

HKCU/ControlPanel/SoundCategories/InCall = InitVol = 2 change to 4

HKCU/ControlPanel/Sounds/RingTone0 > change apw3r to apr

Is this what you are looking for:
Main Menu/Settings/Phone/....Under sounds, choose ring type as "ring" not "increase ring".  Not sure though, if that's for the default ring tone only and not if you've set certain tones for certain people.

How to adjust the quality of secondary camera?
why it is so blur?
is it the screen protector problem?

Hi
I'm new here and just have two problems .. I don't know if this is the right topic so i'm sorry

The first problem is the internet
I went to the company that provides the phoneline i'm using but they said my mobile needs to reinstall the software because the internet isn't working !!! ( My mobile is completely new , I've just bought it )

The second problem is the sound of the alarms ... the first week i used it it was working but now the sound is so little and it just can't wake me up !!!

So .. are there any solutions to my problems Huh???( I hope so )

and thank you in advance

sabastian...

I can have my phone charging and turn the screen off by pushing on the button on the top of the phone and then I have a black screen.

06. Items in Samsung Widget's left panel cannot be remove, delete or add.

All three of these can be done!
