I have service with t-mobile and i don't have a data plan so I use wifi.  Problem is that when ever I receive a picture message I can'd download them... my phone tries to connect to grps.  Anyone know how to fix this problem or will i be unable to load the pictures

1 Is or has your phone ever connected to GPRS?
2 Is Tmobile GPRS or CDMA?
3 910 or 900?
4 And lastly what does it say under operator settings?

1. phone has never connected to gprs
2. I believe t-mobile is gprs
3. omnia is a 900
4. under operator settings SinTel is selected.. and the other two choices read M1 & Starhub

Glad to see you got it worked out!

On a side note though, GSM is the network type, not GPRS. GPRS is a data connection (internet, etc)

So it would be GSM OR CDMA not GPRS or CDMA right?
