have you got an i900 or i910. the standard code for the i900 is 1234 (in the uk anway) thats the code i used to hard reset my omnia. why not try a full hard reset by soft resetting and pressing the call button and call end together when the omnia screen appears see if that solves your problem

i actually don't know which version i have (900 vs. 910).  I just got it a couple days ago and I'm in the U.S.

I tried the soft reset then holding call and end call during the omnia screen and still nothing.

U.S so you might have 1910 try hard resetting from storage device and when it says enters code enter the last 4 digits of your phone number. try this and report back

Thats the weird thing.  The storage device doesn't require the code.....

I just tried a few variations of my number and still nothing.  It grey's out the "yes button" while the no is black.  Im asusming once you enter the correct code, the yes button is black and letsd you select it to complete the hard reset.

my mistake not storage device i meant hard reset from the device. hmm i really do not know this code it should go black when you enter the right amount of digits so try maybe 5 and see if it goes black. when i go to my hard reset i get the message

'are you sure you want to reset to manufacture default? enter '1234' and press yes to confirm.'

what does yours say. if you do hard reset make sure you back up all your contacts as these will be lost

Louv,

I had the same thing with my Omnia through Verizon. My device lock code was the last 4 digits of my phone number.

Type in those four digits and see if the Yes becomes available.

So i had the bright idea that maybe it was the last 4 digits of my "previous" number.  I had updated my number to the area code of where i moved last night and sure enough the last 4 digits of the last number was what unlocked it.  Thanks a ton Lee and TT !!!

It will always be the last 4. I change all the default/last 4 codes for better security.

lee123, Thanks for the help. JASTECH τΏτ

What's up guys. Just had to Hard Reset my Omnia, had problems with the Navigator ect..... I ended up with the Lock Code also, followed the advice of using the last 4 digits of the phone number and it worked! ......So yes try that out, it worked for me, plus it told me to hit *228 to re-program it . Peace... hope they don't need anything off the box ! .... because I don't know any of that info. Will let you know how it goes. I just dialed *228
