ok.. here is how you do it.. after 5hours of failed attempts i did it.. woo hoo!!..
and i am 95 % sure i did .. and i now realize i am very very stupid because it is very very easy and very quick, no real programing skills needed .. alright.. here it goes..
(by the way.. i am not responsible if you crash your device)

1st- download omnia update from:
 http://ars.samsung.com/customer/usa/jsp/faqs/faqs_view.jsp?SITE_ID=22&PG_ID=557&PROD_SUB_ID=561&PROD_ID=1360&AT_ID=157996

2nd- Install update.

3rd- Then, search google for the .wgt files you want.. (you can use .zip files too you just have to change the extenstion to .wgt) There are a bunch on http://widgets.opera.com/  but they arent that sweet.. you could probably find the ones you want if you search the net for a bit..

4th- Drag the .wgt file into the widget sidebar on the today screen .. where all your widgets are (touch player, fm radio, clock, help... all that..)

5th- Widget should install..AND WORK! lol..

yeah... its that easy.. post more sites to find widgets if you find them...=]

For The Good of The People.

so the files that I've downloaded from Opera seems to be just 'download'. After renaming them with .wgt extensions clicking on them doesn't seem to prompt any action.

after renaming with the .wgt ext you simply drag to your widget sidebar using mymoblier.. no clicking, however some .zip things will not work.. but most will..

Great! I've got it to work. Smiley
shock8311, great job! Like you said, its so simple. I have tried to move the .wgt to Windows folder and all sorts of back-end threading, but never got it to work. A cookie for ya! Smiley

How do you get the file on your Widget home screen so I can then drag them into the Widget Sidebar? I tried copying and pasting. Please help.

What have you tried? And what steps have you taken? Basically, you will need to rename the file extension to .wgt (need to change settings for this to work, otherwise it would just be file.wgt.other extension); then you will need copy the file onto the MyMobiler screen right from your desktop.

Hope it works.

I did. I think my problem is using the wrong file. What file exactly do i need say for instance the skyfire wgt. which is it. I used the skyfire.exe file and then moved it to my home screen but nothing happened

erm, yea, exe file will not work. it has to be wgt files. if u go to opera widgets u can 'launch' widgets. and if u are not using opera browser, they will ask if u want to download anyways. do it. and then with the downloaded file rename it to something like skyfire.wgt then move the file onto the MyMobiler's screen.

Please go through the article for more detailed instruction.
