When i try to align my screen into the Align Screen Tap, I followed the instruction to tap the centre + point, then follow by 4 corners points, then i get nothing on my phone.
And the screen still there... and can't back to home or return to other application... Why? Then i try to re-align my screen... same problem... can't align and can't go out from screen, until i soft reset my phone...
Anyone seen this before?

Anthony - try holding your stylus on the center spot for a second or two (it takes a moment to register).  No need to press very hard.

Look here, it tells you how to calibrate using the phones Reg
http://www.samsung-omnia.org/how-to/how-what-and-where/msg24239/#msg24239

I have attached a program that lets you alter the Reg by connecting your phone using Activesync or WMDC, it runs on your PC so is easy to use via your mouse/KB and monitor. Just open it on your PC, I have used it for a while and have had no problems with it.  Smiley

I am having the exact same issue... however because the alignment screen is open CAReg will not allow you to access those registry items.

Did you unlock the Reg with the Reg unlocking tool? Look in the 'Tools' area.
Doesn't it give you the option to skip that bit?

Anthony..
try this:

Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE->HARDWARE->DEVICEMAP->TOUCH.
Change the key value for MaxCalError from 7 to a bigger value (for example 14). Do a soft reset and start a manual re-Align of the screen.

You'll find it's just one-step alignment after that easier to click the "x" button and keyboard button..

You don't want to share with others how you did it? might be others can learn something out of it..

Oops... I forgot to tell you how i did... (thanks Sinbad)

I changed MaxCalError value=20 in RegEdit(suggested by Sinbad)
Then I changed Click value=1280, DownUp value=256 (same page in RegEdit)
Then power off my phone, and take out my battery... wait for 30 minutes...
Then i turn on my phone... Finally... that is better than before Wink

Thanks all of you who gave me these suggestion.
