I would not recommend putting items in your windows dir. If you have to see if you can get away with making shortcuts (for programs) if you start putting audio files in your windows directory you will fill up your program memory and start to have huge problems. Seems windows doesn't like to run without memory, who knew
Mine does the same thing except when it is in sleep mode it plays 3/4 of the tone then the other 1/4 a second or so later. Try a shorter tone for your sms
I figured out the ringtone thanks to you all. Now i am trying to get a song as my sms/mms and i choose the song from the drop down box. Well i keep my phone on sleep mode when im not using it (when you push the power button and it turns off the scree, not the phone). My ringtone will work while in sleep mode BUT the sms/mms doesnt work whenn its in sleep mode. If its not in sleep mode then the song plays. Is there a way that i can get it to work so when i receive an sms/mms while in sleep that it will still play? Thanks!
