Vanilla - closest to stock, still has several samsung/vz apps removed.
Base - bare and stripped, just has what's needed to start the phone this is great for full customization as the phone will only have what you install on it
M2D - uses the M2D UI, I'm not a huge fan of shells, if you'd like more info on m2d just google it or search here for a general idea of what it is.

Remember if you don't like any of them you can flash back to whatever ROM you'd like.  Also, if you're the last poster in a thread don't double post, just use the modify option and add whatever you'd like to your previous post.

Thanks,

-slam

Is there any truth to the info taken from the Samsung South Africa blog?

Some of you have asked if the currently available Samsung Omnia (i900) will be upgradeable to WM 6.5. This will unfortunately not happen as the i900 hardware was not built to support this version of the operating system.

I just got my Samsung Omnia i910.  Probably a stupid questions and I'm sure this has been discussed before but does anyone have step-by-step instructions on how to flash to 6.5?  I guess I'm a retard but this whole flashing thing is new to me and I don't want to junk my phone.  Any help?

There is 1 problem, I can't get any of the links to adrynalyne's kitchen to work. I don't think apostrophes are valid url characters so it doesn't come up in IE or FF with or without the apostrophe, or the % character that it puts in there instead.
