Ok Nils The taskbar i'm trying to get is the one posted below which in the instructions at PPCGeeks (first post of the included link)  i'm told to also install the other .cab that i have also posted below. But everytime i do it the percentage that is over the battery icon is unreadable, and the green battery icon as shown in the picture is instead yellow. Any help would be great b/c i really have just about given up.

I will get a look at it and see what is going on. His are pretty good and usually work if you have the right one.

Refresh my memory, which phone and ROM do you have?

Cookie given to  Nils as promised. By the way is there any way to make the taskbar and icons on it bigger. A simple registry tweak perhaps? Thanks.

I have a Verizon i910 with the cfo3 update and running a custom 6.5 Rom from MrCapcom

I just found something over at Modeco
http://www.modaco.com/content/i9x0-omnia-http-omnia-modaco-com/288676/1-driver-for-omnia-here/
Check out post 11 where he talks about the "non Modded" taskbar, its gibberish to me except for the part about the percentage over the batter looking messed up. Even though on mine the percentage did look cutoff b/c of the screen it also looked...well messed up lol

What it sounds like is two things are happening.  1) The battery driver is wrong for the ROM and 2) the overlay file is also wrong.

Take a look at the zylonite_battdrvr.dll which is in the Windows folder and tell me the date and size in bytes of it.

Just a side note, the 1% battery driver is pretty unstable from all reports and my experience so I do suggest you use the 5% driver.  Once we know which driver you have I can help.

Just to clarify from the above posts.  I just want to make sure everything else looks fine and confirm which taskbar you have running.

That cab you have installed is meant for WM6.1 but is close for 6.5 but not close enough to make the battery work.

It looks like you have the correct driver so I would like you to try this cab and see if it cures the battery problem.  You may not like the taskbar but it will help me put the right one together

When you uninstall the current one it will remove the battery driver so you will need to install the attached cab then copy the zylonite driver into your windows folder and soft reset.

The attached taskbar icon set is tailored for WM6.1 CF03 on the i910. It is put together from a few other peoples work at XDA and Modaco.

If you have other than that I will have to make changes or it will not work correctly.

The cab will completely install it and remove it if you don't like it.

TASKBAR FOR WM 6.1 i910

I have i910 cf03 standard rom WM 6.1.

When restarting, "LargeDisplayStart.exe" could not open.  Is this going to be a problem?

Update:  I went into my settings and turned large display back on and restarted and didn't get the error this time.

Thanks for the task bar!

ok Nils i tried it and it seems to be working fine. I like how it looks too. The real test will be playing music for 2 hours like i do everyday at work. Before i started messing with the batter percentage i could run coreplayer for 2 hours and the battery would just hit 80%. since messing with it after 2 hours it sometimes gets into the 60's. So i will let u know for sure possibly tomorrow. so far so good though. thanks again

Good.  Keep me posted on the battery usage.  Mine seems to do fine with the 5% battery driver.

I can fix that.  I just need to know which cab you installed.  You can attach it so I know for sure.

Here you go.

Try this one but first remove the prior version then install this one.

The only difference is the size of that icon
