I use a program called PPCPIMBackup.  It stores all of my information (contacts, call lists, SMS etc.) onto my storage card.  Google the name. If you ever need to restore, just reinstall the cab and voila!

Go to root directory and find file pim.vol
Back it up on the SD card. This way you can back up all your contacts, sms and call history including all incoming, outgoing and missed calls.

Here is a program that will autobackup your PIM data to your SD Card. It free and easy to use. Any questions, let me know.

I have had all my contacts typed into outlook on my laptop for years, and as soon as I usb'd my I910 they automatically transferred to my phone, no program needed, etc. All of my music files did also, but my activesync still wont open for the Omnia, lol.................Hmmmm.

if you are lucky enough to use wireless sync you don't have to worry about losing your contacts. That is until you plug in that usb cable

How do I get this ppcpimbackup.exe on my phone?

It says it has the header missing, don't I have to get the cab version to install it?

Please help.

Connect using your sync progtram then click on the .exe on your desktop and look for options on your phones screen like where you want it installed etc.

You can't click this exe on a pc, it says it is not a program made for a PC.

No .exe for a phone will work on a PC, they will only work on the phone which is why the phone has to be connected using the sync program.
