I think the default for file download is located in your devices "/My Documents" folder...at least that is the case for my omnia.

Or to be sure, you can go to your today screen, open the Wireless Manager widget, click on the settings icon next to Bluetooth and go to "FTP" tab. There you should see...checked box "Able to write" and underneath "Shared Folder" will be the location where your downloaded bluetooth files are stored.

Good luck!

Hi there everyone, first post here, but i've done quite a lot of research on the bluetooth transfer issue.  Here are my findings:

First off, when sending/beaming a file by bluetooth to the i900, it will always go to the phone memory in my documents rather than the storage memory.  There is no way to change this.

Having said that, there is a way round it.  If you add a new device in the bluetooth settings (start>settings>connections>wireless manager>menu>bluetooth settings>devices>add new device, or any shortcuts setup to get here), once you have set up the partnership, tap on the device name in the list and select OBEX transfer.

Now when you go to file explorer and from my device, select Bluetooth FTP.  Then go to menu>refresh and once this is done, the paired device's name will appear and when you tap on it you can go into it by bluetooth and explore, cut, copy and delete items from the other handsets memory.  As you can copy items as you would  if you were moving files normally on the handset, you can actually paste it to the storage memory, therefore bypassing the whole "can't bluetooth to storage memory" issue.

The FTP option in the bluetooth options is for if the handset it is paired with also has the capability to enter the i900's memory (like all Samsung handsets can).  In here you can set which folders the other handset has access to, so the can get to your entire device if you set it to my device, or you can specify certain folders if you don't want them snooping about!

Hope this helps

This is suppose to let you choose the location to receive files from bluetooth. I have not tried yet. No feedback after 37 downloads because all are very busy.
