You can adjust the sound of music through the headset... through the loudspeaker and even in when a call..
ummm dont know how this forum works as this is my first post... so ummm if you like the little trick please comment back Cheesy
oh and also dont press ok in the top right after changing setting click on menu then apply... otherwise it won't work.

take care peeps let me know how it goes

input the code as above...
the audio control utility will start
clik menu > normal > handset
the original settings are:
DAC(0C) = -4.5 db
SPK(02) = -3 db
MPBST(22) = +12 db
RBST(14) = 0 db
RVOL(12) = 21 db

i have changed these to:
DAC(0C) = -0 db
SPK(02) = 0 db
MPBST(22) = +12 db
RBST(14) = 0 db
RVOL(12) = 21 db

MENU > APPLY ... THEN OK

Then went onto doing the headset
the original settings are:
DAC(0C) = -1.5 db
HP(04) = -12 db
MPBST(22) = +24 db
RBST(14) = +20 db
RVOL(12) = -1.5 db

i changed them to:
DAC(0C) = 6 db
HP(04) = 0 db
MPBST(22) = +24 db
RBST(14) = +20 db
RVOL(12) = 0 db

and again..

MENU > APPLY  THEN OK

you can aslo alter the sound setting for when in a call if anyone wants to know what setting i am using without blowing the built in speaker... just ask and ill get back to you when im free...
And also if any other help is required don't hesitate to ask...

install a third party file explorer (eg. resco explorer 2008; search for it) and go to the path below. double click SoundTester.exe

It work's for me too.

Q is, could it damage the device???

I yust tweaked a headset, not a handset (cos loud is good)

My headset settings

DAC(0C) = 3 db
HP(04) = 0 db
MPBST(22) = +24 db
RBST(14) = +20 db
RVOL(12) = 0 db

And I think its the best settings, loudness is great and sound quality is good too.
