Is it just me having problems with the GPS? Everything on the ROM is great but I have not been able to get a GPS fix on any satellite. Usually Google Maps is able to connect to at least 2 from indoors but even when outside I get nothing and with iGO 8 it cannot even find the GPS on my omnia.

If anyone has found that their GPS works fine on this ROM please post your settings or anything else you did to get it working.

Maybe you should try flashed to the official DXIA5 with DXIA2 phone first, then to shokka9's i900DXID1 SHKv7 21215 with DXID1 phone and then to this FINAL i900DXID1 SHKv14 without phone part.

It's just a suggestion. I don't know whether working or not.

You should check after flashing the official DXIA5, to see whether your device had DXIA2 phone part. If that works, then it should be no problem upgrading to DXID1.

Just tried. GPS is working fine. Did not touch any setting, just update the xtra and satelite locked within 10 seconds.

Only problem with this rom is it's kinda slow in respond.
So far, in my opinion, v7 was the best in term of speed and battery life.

now my using your latest rom v14, i did flash like all most your roms, but i never got phone part update( DXHK3). or maybe i flash my phone by Grandprix ( window vista) because everytime i flash the rom, it all way got error at the end ( " jump fail " ..... ) but after i reset my phone, i got the new version on PDA ( DXHK3 > DXIA2 > DXIA5 > DXIA1), only phone part still the original version( DXHK3 )....

try using vmWare in vista...guide in ROM discussion...

Have you defo got the modem drivers installed?? If its not flashing the phone part then thats usually what it is. Smiley

Also, a lot of newer ROMs only have eboot, pda & csc, NO phone as people who flash regulary already have latest phone or know how to do that part..

Also it is a smaller upload/download so it works for us....

Most of my ROM usually come with the phone part....

I have posted how to add the phone part to a ROM that doesnt have it....use the search, you should find it.I think its in the Official ROM thread by thejigsaw....Wink

Good luck
