Guys,
is there a way to put a shorcut to phone settings in left softkey? I just put M2D today page so I feel I don't need it anymore set to phone and the only time I'm reminded I´m using 6.1 as a have installed a lot of finger friendly programs is when I have to hit start button to go to settings. I already change right one using M2DC but I don't know if this can be done also there and what will be the path to set.
Saludos,

Don't really understand what shortcut and where you want to change the Left Softkey, but, anyway.....

To change the Left Softkey on M2D;

HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/HomeLSKPath = Your program path
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/HomeLSKText = The name of your program or whatever you like. This is the name that will appear on your screen.

e.g.:
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/HomeLSKPath = \Windows\wrlsmgr.exe
HKLM/Software/HTC/manila/HomeLSKText = Wireless

If you meant to change the Left Softkey on your Windows Default Today;

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Open = Your program path
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Default = The name of your program or whatever you like. The name that will appear on your screen.

e.g.:
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Open = \Windows\wrlsmgr.exe
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today\Keys\112\Default = Wireless

Try go to [Settings] > [System] > [Power], on the Wi–Fi tab unchecked Power Saving.

Merry Christmas to you too Omnian !!!
What I would like to do, is to assign left softkey to phone settings just in manila2d (see picture) that way I don't have to use start menu for anything as a have created shorcuts for every program in manila.

Jota

Attach picture screen025, just to be more clear, this is where I want to get with a shortcut.

One more question...
I have made a lot of changes to current manila2d theme, if I use m2DC to make a backup of theme, can I then take it out of phone, change to .zip and it would be a theme with the same stuff I currently have?
the thing is that I made all the changes in the phone (erased dotted lines, changes tab icons, etc..) but if I load a different theme all that will be lost and I would have to do it each time.
here are some shots of my current theme, yeahhh.... I finally learn how to make some changes with adobe photoshop elements so I made everything black and white in my phone  Grin

I expect some nice coments on my theme ,jajaja... Smiley i just made some pretty basic changes and it took me a lot of time so I have even greater appreciation for designers and chef as it is very time consuming to do, son thanks again Shokka9 for all the dedication en effort you put into this rom  Wink
saludos,
Jota

Hi jotacorredor,

Oh...I see.

Sorry that I didn't understand what you meant. Guess I'm getting blur from not flashing any ROM for a long time.  Tongue

Okay, regarding what you intend to do with your Left Softkey. I'm afraid that can't be done.

It's not possible to link it to the Settings menu, but if you want to link it to one of the feature setting in the Settings menu, maybe we can do that.

Let me know.  Wink

WOW.

VERY NICE

I'm pretty sure that you can use M2DC to backup your Brilliant Theme, but to be safe, you should backup all the files that you've created/modified.

Eh...

jotacorredor,

Check out your screen016.png. The Left Softkey is showing "All Settings". Try click on that, I think it'll bring you to the Settings Menu.

It'll do that on the Diamond 2.

grrr... Angry I was afraid you were going to say that, I tried google first I could not get anywhere... but it's ok Omnian thanks. I think I will just assign softkey to a program since I put m2d today there is no need to have phone in there.

about not flashing... Cry chef did left us hanging here....haha... but no one but you supported my $10 contribution to get chef omnia II phone, that way we can move on with him to better things..  Cry but with $20 buck I'm not sure we can even get him a carriyng case for it  Wink
