I accept NO responsibility for any damage caused to your handset before, during and after updating it with these ROMs. Using custom ROMs has risks attached to it, and can be dangerous. Proceed with caution.

THE UPDATER IS DESIGNED FOR USE ON XP MACHINES ONLY< VISTA IS NOT SUPPORTED UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

Please do not ask me to add anything or to explain why stuff is not there. These ROMs change all the time due to many factors. My ROMs generally have the same apps in them so you know what to expect. RESPECT TO SECTOR AS ALWAYS & SECANY for the update.

UPDATE: 17/05/09

Due to time not being infinate, i no longer have time to make ROMs. So the ROMs that are available, are the last ones i will make.

I may make a final WM6.5 when we have official FINAL release, but til then, NOTHING new from the shokka9. Sorry guys.

So this is my last WM6.5 build for a while.

Just like to say that you guys have been great and everyone involved in Omnia is cool. I not disappearing so i will still be active in the forums. Helping out etc.

BIG THANKS TO SECTOR, QBUS, SZTUPY, PASSOA, SECANY, KHUANCHAI, WIZARD & ANYONE ELSE WHO HELPED ME OUT.

The TRUTH is out there, its Omnia Smiley

UPDATED: 02/05/09 - PLEASE READ

This is a FULL ROM, it has Phone part too, as we have ID1 also now!!

i900DXID1 SHKv6L 21215 - 03/05/09

Part 1 - http://www.mediafire.com/?1g4nrtmntnq
Part 2 - http://www.mediafire.com/?gookzwx4om1
Part 3 - http://www.mediafire.com/?mjom0w1zwon
Part 4 - http://www.mediafire.com/?rtxnv2jwlmy

Download Instructions & Installation for all my WM6.5 ROMs (PLEASE READ)

1> Download all parts of the ROM. Extract part 1 only, it will extract the other parts.
When it has extracted the ROM, install as usual.
2> When you get the ROBOT/WM6.5 screen wait for it to reboot. When it reboots it will default to Windows default home today screen. (after configuring the Omnia - obviously!!)
3> Now HARD RESET DEVICE.....
4> Repeat step 2 then move to step 5.
5> To get your MMS & Internet settings; goto Settings, Connections, Operator; select different operator to yours (any). Wait 25 secs, then goto connection settings, operator settings and select your proper operator. Your net, MMS, SMS settings will now be active. PLEASE READ: THIS IS IMPORTANT!!!!
6> CALIBRATE SCREEN TO ENSURE GOOD CALIBRATION. Settings, system, screen, CALIBRATE SCEEN.
7> To set up an all black theme, change in Settings\system\today\Windows Mobile Black.
8> To get the honeycomb menu as in the pics, disable the Large menu in Settings\system\large display
9> Install Google YouTube, download attached cab and install to device memory.
10> Soft Reset after this....or after some other tweaking

To install my M2D theme download this http://www.mediafire.com/?qhju2mynymd if you are using LITE ROM

** If you dont already have a 'My Ringtones' folder setup for your tones, please do this before (or after) flashing the Omnia. I remove all standard tones, so when you set up your notifications, there will be nothing to select and this may cause u a problem. Do this....

Set up a folder IN THE ROOT on either your 'my storage' or 'storage card' (memory card) called 'My Ringtones'. Sorry for the basics...just making sure tho.

Put all your ringtones, sounds etc in there. Every time u flash Omnia, it will use those folders (and the one in the device (which will be empty) **

So what's new in DXID1?

I have your previous Lite rom and flashed a few days a go. I was wondering if its worth to flash with this version.

Well, this ROM has the new ID1 phone part, which is always worth a flash.

Too early to say, but i think it is quicker than IA5. Also, it is very similar to IA5 which is a very good thing. IT means they (Samsung) will have done some bug fixes mainly.

I have not had any issues. Which is good. I wont be updating for a while, so flash when you are ready bro Wink

Good luck. It is worth it tho Smiley

Flashing as we speak!!! I'll let you know the verdict (although if track record is anything to go by, it'll be perfect as normal).

One thing worries me though....

I've just upgraded to the omnia (18 month vodafone uk contract) and it seems like samsung is gonna abandon the omnia soon (well this year anyway). Is there any other phones that compare??

i've had a butchers on the web and it doesn't seem like there are any other phones around that is as customizable as the omnia (with custom roms, all the different progs, etc, etc.)

I've become quite addicted to it all, and there's nothing better that to get a new update (like the DXID1) and try it out.. will it all come to and end soon???

Anyway, enough rambling  Lips Sealed, flashing just finished, time to have a play...

Very fast ROM!!! i've re-flashed to the "normal" 21215 rom as i don't seem to get on with lite roms (i like all the baked in stuff) but if you're into Lite roms, this one's amazing..

Issues i noticed so far:
- In the buttons settings the Camera button is Mouse de dedo;
- Eveytime i want to access the storage card its disconnected and i cant save pictures on the storage card or copy them to my pc, because as soon as i do that the card gets disconnected so i get an error and a massage telling me if i want to see the pictures on the storage card (probably because it has been "inserted" again).

The GPS works, but the fact that i cant save my pictures to the storage card is anoying.

The difference is the stuff that's baked in.

The Lite rom will have more memory and be slightly faster, but the Non-Lite rom has got loads of stuff "baked" in e.g M2D, Cleartemp etc etc etc..

Personally i use M2D all the time so i prefer it baked in along with all the other bits..

Firstly LITE = LITE = Not much cooked in, virtually everything removed, no 3rd party apps.

My other WM6.5 ROMs have a lot more cooked in them.

@ lorin.bute

The button thing (Mouse de dodo) is small issue
The storage card is your issue NOT ROM issue, as i save to storage card with no problems.

Sorry bro, but that is not issue of my ROM. Wink

Yeah, fixed it Smiley
I changed the usb connection to mass storage, cut-pasted the pictures on the pc, changed back to active sync, run the camera and it works again. I guess it was a problem with existing folders in the DCIM folder on the storage card.

Thank you Shokka for all your effort!!!

Here are some pictures:
