Shokka9, thank you! this is a great rom, far faster than stock that's for sure!

I have one question, running the SHKv23L 23064....
im in new zealand, and whenever i put a new APN in for my isp or my network (VFNZ web or other names doesnt realy matter, Cellular line GPRS, www.vodafone.net.nz), it forgets it after exiting. (although they are there somewhere because it wont let me enter the same name twice...)
Then no programs can connect (and havent been able to), this was not an issue on the stock rom. I'm trying to search the registry but dont really have a start point, any tips anyone?

Cheers yall!

Ah fixed it! Stupid thing needed me to change operator settings:
start>settings>connections>operator settings
to a new operator, then use the APNs that were there already, rename the access point to the one i wanted, hit ok and BAM! working 3G connection.

Again, thanks again for the ROM!!! Cheesy

Dear All,

I have just successfully flashed 23064 ROM on to my Omnia but I am having a problem with MMS.

If I click on Start -> Messaging, the first entry in the list of accounts is 'Text Messages' rather than 'Messaging' on previous ROMs I have used.  I have looked round these forums and Google for any clues but not came across anything so apologies if this has been covered before.

It seems I cannot compose (or receive I guess) an MMS as if this feature is disabled somehow.  I have applied the operator settings successfully (Orange UK) and an MMS data connection is created but maybe I've missed something?

Apart from that this looks like a really nice ROM so big thanks Shokka9 for all your hard work Smiley

Cheers
Jez

Shokka! Read ur thread, and deepest gratitude on ur performance. But............. I m unable to install ur ROM, i know i m in uncorrect section but i ve read many threads regarding how to install ROM. I m using windows 7 ultimate and window mobile media centre. its easily connect with it but when i try to install. There is some instructions:
                                         Turn off ur phone
                                         Unplug the cable
Restart the phone and plug the cable again
                                         Click on the START button
But the problem is that the START button is invisible and i m unable to press it. I m very dissapointed. Plz help

Hi All

Firstly many many thanks to shokka for all the awesome roms

I don't know if anyone still reads this thread but i am hoping so
I have a small problem since flashing to both SHKv23 23064 and lite version
(which are both brilliant)
3rd party apps such as spb weather and opera mobile 10 will not connect to the internet
all the standard apps such as internet explorer still work, i have tried googling the matter
and searching this forum with no success

I can flash back to wm6.1 if necessary but i really like these new roms
if anyone can help i'd greatly appreciate it

Thanks in advance

Hello Davida69. Have you tried reinstalling the apps and try sending your phone the settings for the internet again using the service providers website (send your phone a configuration Text). I never had this problem when I flashed one of Shokkas ROMs but trying what I have written is worth a try.

Hi. I am a newbie and sorry if I have posted in the wrong area. I have a Samsung Omnia i900 and want to flash its ROM. I have tried to flash it but none of the roms get downloaded to the phone. I am using USDL GrandPrix v1.6.4 VISTA and it just stays on downloading eboot on the phone. The only rom that loads up to the phone is PDA_i900XXHH1 but it also hangs on trying to create dummy CSC headers. I have also tried to flash the rom in WinXP but no luck.

Can anyone please help me. Cry
