I accept NO responsibility for any damage caused to your handset before, during and after updating it with these ROMs. Using custom ROMs has risks attached to it, and can be dangerous. Proceed with caution.

THE UPDATER IS DESIGNED FOR USE ON XP MACHINES ONLY< VISTA IS NOT SUPPORTED UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO

UPDATE: 17/05/09

Due to time not being infinate, i no longer have time to make ROMs. So the ROMs that are available, are the last ones i will make.

So this is my last WM6.1 build for a while. Until i update with DXID1

Just like to say that you guys have been great and everyone involved in Omnia is cool. I not disappearing so i will still be active in the forums. Helping out etc.

BIG THANKS TO SECTOR, QBUS, SZTUPY, PASSOA, SECANY, KHUANCHAI, WIZARD & ANYONE ELSE WHO HELPED ME OUT.

The TRUTH is out there, its Omnia Smiley

20270/20954
Some little changes, thats why you need to read the instructions below..HTC Album now works as it should, by that i mean if you tap on an image, it now opens properly with HTC Album. Before it opened HTC Album, but not the images. It is now fixed (thanks sector). Windows Live is back and so is HTC Task Manager (thank god). I have also added my version of the XT9 keypads. Enjoy . I have some updated apps, including the new YouTube app, this is available on the Internet tab, works great!! Just removed the Windows Default Today screen. I will not be adding it back, sorry if you liked it. If you like it, use sector's, qbus or khuanchai's. I making M2D ROMs in this thread, sorry dudes.

20954:

Well, what can i say, thanks to stevenh, the mouse issue is fixed (and tested), and the multi selection is fixed too (and tested). Piece of cake when you know how wink.gif . So big respect to StevenH, you making this happen. Just running it now, nothing is up, even the button assignment is good! (dunno what happened last time round ) YouTube installs after the theme customisation, no need to reset. Just make sure you have an internet connection before you run it.

Download Instructions & Installation

1> Download all parts of the ROM. Extract part 1 only, it will extract the other parts.
When it has extracted the ROM, install as usual.
2> When you get the ROBOT screen (where you normally tap to begin configuration), wait for the Omnia to RESTART first!!..Then do as normal. When it finally boots, it will run customisation automatically and install the black theme (and YouTube on 20954). Proceed as normal... You should be able to set your MMS etc here, but if not....
3> To get your MMS & Internet settings; goto Settings, Connections, Operator; select different operator to yours (any). Wait 25 secs, then goto connection settings, operator settings and select your proper operator. Your net, MMS, SMS settings will now be active.

Thanks to sector, Bilou, stevenh, Sztupy, lastnikita, wizard, Lufeig, secany, Qbus, Pako777, metalmanicman, modaco.com, Samsung-omnia.org, Mpenguin14, Vicott Wong, Jorg Michel, Christian Ghisler, and anyone else who has been involved in some way or another. The theme for M2D is a concoction from a few different themes, so I cannot say who to thank exactly. But thanks anyway to you all. Everyone involved... wink.gif

Dutch settings are in the Regional settings, so why not?  Grin

VOIP is like phone but thru the internet. Using something like Skype or Fring will let you know if it works. I am not entirely sure.

I have seen the VOIP folders, it isnt an app as such, more protocol, so these types of calls are viable.

I have just noticed that i cannot change any of the buttons (using personal settings, buttons) is this the same for you??

I may have to rebuild this ROM? Not tongiht tho, i am playing football!!

Hi again, i think i might have found another problem  Cry I´m a danish user, and i´m installing a XT9 language pack, i think there is 14 different languages, including danish. After installing the XT9 cab file and importing the registry file, and cant get to the Samsung Phonepad, which is the one i´m using for text messaging.
The error says "The selected input method could not be loaded". Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

@ SmokingX

What you need to do is find "HKLM/Software/Tegic/XT9/AvailableLanguages" in the registry editor.
You will find that the present value is "0109" and that is the value for eng language. Swedish has for an exampel "011D" and by putting in the values "011D,0109" it will enable both language.

Change that to whatever value your language has, you will have to search the webb.

Good luck
