Don't have to thank me, shokka9. You've given me alot and I'm contributing back to the community.

But it is nice to say thanks every now and again Wink - shokka9  Shocked

@omnian ...... can i flash ia5  wm 6.1 on id1 v7 straight away...... i mean does it acept an older version on top of a newer one

thanks again........
@ shahmalav,

Please be more specific.....ia5 wm6.1, the custom one or the official one?
If custom ROMs, just flash it as you've flashed before.

If official ROM, you'll need to make a simple registry tweak. Read Here.

Why are you so scare? You did flashed to this custom ROM, didn't you?

But I have one problem (wich I didn't find the answer in this forum and anothers too): I want the XT9 keyboard because the multilanguage function. I'm brazilian and I use portuguese to write things. Forget about the registry editing.

On that forum, there's 2 zip files attached.
1) Windows.rar
2) XT9_v1.0.rar
Download both and extract them on your PC.
Copy all the extracted files from Windows.rar into your device's \Windows\Fonts\ folder.
Copy the extracted file from XT9_v1.0.rar into your device's My Storage or Storage Card, then using File Explorer from your device, look for this file and tap on it.

I have not done it before, so please try it at your own risk.

Thank you again! I did what you said but the XT9_v1.0.rar don't run... I've downloaded the PHM registry but when I tap on it (XT9_v1.0.rar) just show the pricipal page (device and etc) and don't run anything Sad. Do have I some problem with the PHM? What do you think? I did many soft resets and nothing has changed... help...

It's suppose to write something into your registry. After you tap on it, can you check whether "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\XT9]" appeared in your registry?

Don't understand what you mean by pricipal page. Can you post a screenshot?

By using the PHM registry editor, can you check whether you have "[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Tegic\XT9]" in your registry already?

The XT9_en_v1.reg is suppose to write some entries into your device's registry.

Just to make sure, you did extract the XT9_v1.0.rar before you copy it into your device, did you?

Yes, I did... I've tried to softreset, reinstal the PHM registry, copy in device or storage, but always openned that image. I searched for "xt9" in the PHM program, but nothing was found. Is there another program I could try? Thank you a lot for your pacience...

What do you mean reinstal the PHM registry?

I'll try to search for others later.

AHA.
Can you try THIS?
