Hey

Not sure whether you are aware that Samsung Kies is no longer available for Omnia II. So now i can no longer put videos or songs onto my phone. Not sure what i can do, i have downloaded the latest version but it is still not working. 

Is there anything anyone can suggest?

Or Windows Mobile Device Center Windows 7/Vista

You must select the correct program for your PC operating system.

Many thanks for your reply.

I clicked on the link provided and went through the validation process.  It did not inform me whether i had been successful in validating or not Cry .  I have a genuine windows certificate.  My desktop is a windows vista, 32 bit.  The link you provided me took me to the windows page.

When i opended Samsung Kies it asked that it be updated so i clicked on the update button.  It updated itself.  it will still not let me download anything to the phone.  so I am no further forward in getting the videos onto the device.

I think i need step by step instructions.  If you could please wrack your brains to find a solution, i would be grateful.

You need:
Microsoft Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1 for Windows Vista (32-bit)
in the second link.
After validation it allows you to download M.W.M.D.C. This will allow you to do everything you want to do.
Personally I think Kies is crap and my PC runs better without it.

My PC has version 6 and windows mobile centre will only be allowed if you have version 7,
which i cant afford to buy at the moment.  unless there is a free version out there which you know about ...

WMC is for Vista and W7. Activesync is for XP.
If you have an illegal system then you can't download it because it asks to verify before downloading.
Discussion or links to illegal warez is not allowed on the site.

I just take out the little memory card and drag and drop the files - mp3 etc - onto the card, alternatively drag and drop to the phone when connected through the USB port.
