I would recommend flashing to a custom rom, it makes a huge difference in the performance of your phone. Spb 3.5 outperforms 3.0.1 in almost every way on a custom rom. Oh try turning off your animations and that may help speed things up. You may also wanna try htc task manager to make sure all your programs are closing when you hit the x button, and also give Clean Ram a try.

abqcub - Thanks for the tips. I do use cleanram and cleartemp. I have been reluctant to flash to a custom ROM. One of the main reasons is that I like (believe it or not) and need VZNavigator. I cannot seem to find a way to add that back after flashing to a ROM. I will still think about it though. New phone on its way today!

Can't you download it with your official ROM then save the cab or just copy the folder with it in to your PC the add it back after a flash. I have done this with other nav programs and it works, you just have to manually put a short cut in the correct Windows folder for it to show in your list of programs.

Doesn't it cost $10/month, wouldn't it be cheaper to buy another program. There are post on here about which one people like best for use in America.

Wait, I think I found it here?

Got it loaded had to install the .cab to my storage card and run from there. Says it's registered as well. Thanks for the quick reply. Oh by the way it doesn''t havea 3D carousel. Is that the Omnioa's lack or am I not loading something or turning something on? Thanks!

3d c doesn't work on the Omnia. It installs better if you manually uninstall v3 before installing v3.5 or it did for me and a few others on here. Also if you use the 3D text etc view it has a fault with replying, it sends a blank message or something, that also has been written about on here, maybe in this thread even. Some people say it is slower and uses more juice from the battery, I have disabled the animation and it works fine, as for the battery I "think" it is using a little more but my ROM is very good on battery use so it's hard to say, maybe it's mainly the animation using it?

I haven't noticed any drop in battery power, and everything runs smooth for me. Are you guys using a stock rom or a custom?

im using AD's windows 6.5 3.0.

Thats odd that your still having such battery drain problems. All I can recommend is turning off the animations and make sure things like your weather aren't updating so often.

I mean its not draining the battery a lot, I've just noticed that it does a little more then 3.0.  Like this past sunday I didn't send/recieve any texts or do anything else with my phone.  Took it off the charger around 10am(fully charged) and by 3-4pm it was at 80%.  Maybe this is normal and I'm just being picky.  Just wondering.

Not with the ROM I'm using, if it's on charge all night then it shouldn't drop if you don't use the phone and even with a little use, 2-4 Text messages, it still shouldn't drop in that time (doesn't on mine or didn't used to last time I looked). Did you check to see if anything else was running or do you have auto-updates for anything?
 Shortening the backlight time helps.
It's just like life, burn bright and colourful all the time and your "battery" runs out, or lead a dull life and it lasts a lot longer (seems like forever), the trick is to get a balance that you are happy with.

From the Lifestyle screen go into Bottom right soft button > Settings and make sure that Both is set for Enable Layouts.  Also make sure there is 1 or more for pro and lifestyle.
