hi all i've had this SPB mobile shell for some time & luv it coz the standard menus are shocking on omnia but SPB mobile shell makes it much easier to use overall etc. what i've been wondering from the previous posts is basically where is this so called lifestyle screen & bottom right button? is it on the SPB skins or wot? help would be much appreciated coz i'd luv to modify my background on the mobile shell Wink
PS i do know that there is already installed backgrounds that it can be changed to but would love to add some of the options given in the jpeg lists on this subject

I'll try to answer. the "button" is not reallt a button but the lower right icon. tap it and a menu comes up. if you are in the pro home screen it will have a choice for lifestyle. go ahead a click on it "lifestyle". now once in the lifestyle page click that same lower right icon and it will now have a choice for the background.

To add these files I just d/l them and put them in the spb directory. doesnt take up much memory and i only have like 3 extra.
Hope this helps.

You probably already know this but you can use desktop wallpapers for lifestyle home. I got some great christmas ones. Below is the information from the SPB FAQ:

1. Where can I get more backgrounds for the widgets screen?
You can download additional free skins from the backgrounds page.

There is another easy way to get thousands of high quality backgrounds since wallpapers created for Windows desktops work very well with Spb Mobile Shell. Just search for "desktop wallpapers" in the Internet. For best results use 1280x1024 wallpapers with widescreen devices (480x800, 240x400) and 1280x800 with regular screen devices (480x640, 240x320).

Happy Christmas
