Thanks NIls,

all is well now.

I installed your Taskbar-blue-generic-V2 and everything is working fine.

I understand this is for WM6.1 i910, but it works fine for me. Im on WM6.5 i900.

only thing missing is the blue pin dialer.

but if you can have a similar taskbar for WM6.5 i900 a'd more than happy to install it.

thanks again.

cheers
The generic was tailered for the i900 and will work on most WM6.5's .  Glad it worked for you.

I will see what I can find for the pin dialer.

Good morning Nils,

I loaded up the new flip style clock without the frame. It looks great. Is it possible to make the background transparent, so that theres no black covering the back ground? Oh ya love the new battery status icon very nice.

Thanks

Thank you!

Try this one and see if it is what you are looking for.

It is the large desk-flip clock with the outside border transparent.

Of all of the above clocks I have narrowed it down to 3 favorites so I worked on cleaning them up a little (new digits & Transparent background) and thought it was worth re-posting them in one post.

1) Modification of the default large digital clock
2) Small desk flip clock now capable of moving it around the screen
3) Large desk flip clock

The installation is the same.  Copy the .dat file from the ZIP file to the \device\Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell folder.

The back-out is simple.  Either replace it with one of the other clocks or rename the .bkp file in the ZIP to .dat and copy it to the same folder. Replace is OK

NOTE: If you have installed any of these it is worth replacing them for the clean up.

Now for those that are feeling adventurous.

I have included all of the MS 3.5 widgets I have posted in this thread into one Zip file including adding them all as menu (change skin) options and still retain the originals.  In other words, they are added to your qa_layouts.dat file and registry for easy use. You will also be able to use different skins on the pro and lifestyle screens

The zip file includes:

1) The three clocks in the previous post
2) The blue status icons viewable in the previous post
3) The enhanced version of the professional status icons viewable in the previous post
4) The custom battery icons viewable in the previous post
5) Four invisible shortcut link options (tiny, small, medium, and rectangle).
     * I use the rectangle to overlay the alarm on the clock and link to my G-Alarm instead of the MS clock. Use your imagination.

NOTE: I did not invent the invisible skin I just borrowed it from the XDA forum and included the rectangle for my purposes.

Installation:

1) Extract all of the contents of the ZIP file to your \device\Program Files\Spb Mobile Shell folder

NOTE: The extract of Zip file will copy all the widgets to the folder with names that are different than the original widgets. It will also restore the originals if you have already installed any of the ones in this thread.  No harm if you didn't since it will just refresh the originals with no harm done.

2) Using your favorite registry editor create a backup of your registry and  import the XtraPackages.reg that was extracted to you Spb Mobile Shell folder.

3) Soft reset

4) Now go into any of your widgets like the clock and you will see additional option called Extra - nnnnn

Backout:

1) Delete the qa_layouts.dat file
2) Rename the qa_layouts.bkp file to qa_layouts.dat
3) Either delete the registry entries listed in the XtraPackages.reg file or restore the registry with the backup you took in step  2 of the installation

NOTE: Since this is replacing your qa_layouts.dat file any widgets installed other than mine will be lost so you may want to back up your qa_layouts.dat file for your self before doing anything.

NOTE: As usual, use at your own risk. And remember that if all else fails you can re-install MS without losing your current settings

I have created a Version 2 which includes everything in in Version 1 plus a modified trash can which is now smaller and further away from the main screen.

I use resco explorer.

I am not familiar with Resco so I am not sure how  to do it .  I use Memmaid and it imports fine.     Is it an option in Resco to import it or do you just try to run it or open it with Resco.

You can download a trial of MemMaid if that helps

This will be a bit tedious, but it'll get the job done..
1) Open up the reg file in a notepad on your computer
2) On your phone, navigate to the key (e.g. H K E Y _ L O C A L _ M A C H I N E \ S o f t w a r e \ S p b   S o f t w a r e   H o u s e \ S h a r e d \ S p b   M e n u \ W i d g e t P a c k a g e s \ S p b . W i d g e t s X t r a)
3) Updated specified values (e.g. P r o c e s s e d) to the value after the '='.
4) Repeat steps 2 and 3 for all the keys found in the file.

Hope this helps

you can also download the WinMo emulator from Microsoft and try it there. You can install all the applications (SPB MS, Resco, Nils' updated themes) and see how that works out. If you are satisfied with results, use your real device.
