Nice keyboard thanks for the time and effort

Cookie for you!!!

Update

sHoKKa please do not take this the wrong way, but it seems that with your keyboard my typing accuracy is horrible compared to the samsung keyboard.  Are the keys smaller than the samsung?  It takes me twice as long to type a message on yours.  I love the way it looks with the black and all.  But I am cursed with some what short and thick fingers so it is difficult for me to type on an onscreen keyboard to begin with.  Is the keyboard the same and just the colors are different?  If that's the case then that means I am a retard because there is no difference then.  I just thought I would give you some feedback for future improvements.  The look of it is awsome but I had to uninstall it because I could not use it.  If it is just me then I apologize.

I downloaded this to my i910 and my phone would no longer boot. It would not get past the Verizon start up screen. I tried to hard reset using the hard keys but it would not work. As a last resort, I was able to flash the new i910 ROM and everything turned out ok. Just a warning for i910 users.

Well then it was me, I installed it the first day I got the phone so I was probably just not used to it.  I am re-installing it.  Then the next day when I put the new rom in I was probably already getting better at typing and didn't realize it was me and not the keyboard....Thanks for the reply

im confused on where you actually go to do this.....

I installed this over an existing Tegic keypads with no issues. You shouldnt get any issues, but if i remember right the Tegic installation didnt work on older firmwares (HJ and below i think). You can try tho..

shokka you said remapping buttons to other characters/words like ".com" is out of your reach - can you increase the size of each key in both, portrait & landscape, by say, 150% ?
It'll be more keybaord rows on the screen, and it will occupy most of the screen, which is fine - but such keyboard would be absolutely amazing, as it would eliminate so many typing errors in every application, make typing a lot faster and it'll be a great workaround for relatively small 3.2" screen size, making the keyboard as if our Omnias had 4.5" screen.
The idea has already been implemented by SPB: http://www.spbsoftwarehouse.com/products/keyboard/   but personally I don't like their layout and the size of the letters on the keys is too small...

The new pop up keyboard on all the new roms going around would not lock the numbers on the keypad (when using excel) Everytime you enter the first number it would switch to alpha like xt9 was running.,.,blah, blah. However the pop up portion no longer works with your sleak black keyboard, but hey can't have it all.  I use excel quite a bit so I will use this one for a little while.

hey shokka, love all your work.  i just flashed to a custom ROM (upon your recommendation - http://modaco.com/content-page/277036/clean-dxhk3-rom-updated-dec-14-2008-lufeigs-lfi02/page/40/#entry946158)... and im really happy with everything so far, except....

i prefer the look of the standard Samsung Phonepad (the cooked ROM has a modified black version, quite similar to yours), and i was wondering if it would be possible for me to change back to that standard pad.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

cheers.
