32. Phone Extension (Phonex)

I know, the Omnia's phonepad and contact list is one of the best we have used on a Winmo device.  However, Phone Extension (Phonex)  by Iconsoft is indeed amazing.  It is quick, extremely responsive and the UI is even more beautiful on our Omnias than what is shown in the photos.

Just a quick note:  While using this program, I did have to figure out how to add numbers, where to put my serial key in, and how to get new contacts with new avatars/contact pics.  But, once I figured it out I felt a little n00bish.  The program is very easy to use and if anyone has any questions just post.

However, the program doesn't support landscape mode.  But, I find this not to be a problem because we were never really able click on our contact button while in landscape mode to begin with. Have fun!

Here is a link to Iconsoft's page http://www.modaco.com/index.php?showtopic=276120&mode=linear

And if your a little bit of a devil, as I was - you would type in Phonex and rapidshare in to everyone's favorite search engine.

It wasn't working for me either until I installed it onto the phone itself, instead of the hard drive - "my storage."

I think you might need to install the program directly to the device.

sid0101, When you stated "And if your a little bit of a devil, as I was - you would type in Phonex and rapidshare in to everyone's favorite search engine." Is this for the crack or serial ect?

32. Phone Extension (Phonex)

"Yeah im using phone ex as well, very nice especially contact photo and scroll very well.

But few bugs (or maybe im stupid)"

1. Cant quick press Alphabet and it goes there, you must scroll alll from a to z
2. With the dialpad, you cant go to Omnia Secret menu *#0002*28346# ( u need to exit phoneex first then back to Old keypad to do this.
3. Some of the contact photos will distort

To answer the first question... Yep.

As for the bugs, I couldn't agree with you more.  While the application works great in some aspects, there are deficiencies.  As for the contact photos, the key is not to take actual contact photos, but regular hi-res pics.  Oh, and the other bug is that I can't dial my voicemail by holding 1.  However, i remedied this by adding my voicemail as a favorite on put it to the top, so it's not such a big deal anymore.

33. HTC X-Button v1.50

http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-download-htc-x-button-v1-50.html

x button does not close active window on your omnia (as in desktop windows),
and if you don't want task manager to be your favorite,
with this (freeware) program you can set x to do do (just) that.

 Cheesy
