not sure...

try soft resetting and trying again.

it does work, but its been a long time since a manually did it. I remove 2.0 and update to 3.5 during my build stages of ROM.

The cab does and should work for you??  Embarrassed

Wizard, I installed the CF 3.5, but can I now remove the program CF 2.0 ENU-String, as it is taking up space on the internal memory.
Also, not sure if I was given the option when installing CF 3.5, but could I have installed it in my storage to avoid using up internal memory, seems like it set me back 2000K?

Thanks!

SO I decided to remove the CF 3.5 that was on my internal memory, went throught the same procedure to add CF 3.5 again, this time to my storage, but I get an error "installation error, stop all applications and processes, maximize available storage space, and run installation again. Support info: 2."
what gives?

dont think it can be installed to my storage

try to install to your device

also i dont think you can remove 2.5 either as it cooked in the ROM, i can remove it during the building process of a ROM, i put 3.5 in as standard.

I think it may use some resources from 2.5 when you install 3.5?? dunno, dont wworry about it bro Wink

If you really concerned on space, try using custom ROM?? Wink

Your right, I selected my storage as Wizard suggested, but it still ends up being installed in the internal memory.
This also happens for some other apps, like Google maps, I tried and tried to get it to install in my storage, but no go.  Most other things have installed there no problem, so not sure why some default to internal even though I choose my storage.

Wizard, any thoughts on this, and were you actually able to install CF 3.5 in my storage, and why cant I???

I did get around my issue I mentioned earlier, so I could re-install CF 3.5.  I found it on MoDaCo's site, just had to rename a .dll file.

BTW, performance now that I used the CF configurator tool, and changed the default from version 2.0 to 3.5, things are running much faster!

Remember this:

If during installation, it prompt you where to install, then you can select.

If during installation, it never prompt you where to install, then you can't select.

Installations that will never prompt you where to install are:

SPB Mobile Shell
HomeScreen PlusPlus
etc
