This is latest version of s2u2. There's changes been made such as:
1. Notification icon is now clickable
2. Various clock display
3. Owner info display
4. Password option
5. Percentage battery display
6. Haptic feedback slider plus inertia control
7. Vibration LED
etc..

not sure if it's the new version, or if it's the first one ive used since uninstalling personalizer, but this is the first version that doesnt cause my minimized programs to shut themselves down automatically (im also using manila m2d).

they come out with versions every couple of weeks it seems.. so for the latest version always check:

www.ac-s2.com

if this is your first time downloading/using s2u2 and you want a crisp full screen picture of your contacts during incoming calls, make sure to also download and install s2v, and use s2v to assign contact id pictures. otherwise the incoming call pics will be blurry.

I had nothing but problems w/my phone after upgrading to 1.62.  the phone would freeze for no reason, it wouldnt unlock, it wouldnt answer calls, etc.

i switched back to 1.50d and my problems went away

it sucks b/c the new features were great, it woke the phone up on text message and gave a preview, thats probably the best new feature.

Have you upgrade your firmware? Have you running other software like SPB / M2D? You need to work out the setting of S2U2, Omnia setting and SPB/M2D setting to make all these program work as perfect match

It's depend on your ROM and your settings... mine okay, full charge in morning still left 90% at 3pm

Installed it yesterday with the settings for the SPB Mobile Shell and it works great. The Caller ID doesnt work but the rest works. No batterry life issues. I think it depends on the ROM. I have the DXIA2.

Thanks for the app.

I'm on verizon so no roms for me yet... just the standard one.

after i uninstalled s2u2 i was still having issues so i uninstalled PhoneEx.  All my problems went away.  I am trying resco cm now and with s2u2 1.50d it has been working perfectly for a couple days now, i will upgrade to s2u2 1.62 today and see how it goes.

Is there a way to make the phone wake up when i receive a text, but not show the preview of the text while using S2U2?

i reinstalled 1.62 yesterday. Everything seems good for the most part.  it perma-locked the phone once last night, i had to shut it off.

battery is great.  i unplugged it at 11am yesterday with a full charge, the s2u2 batt indicator still shows 100%, the phone stayed on all night.

Only thing is, if I have M2D running, and S2U2 has my phone locked and I get an incoming call, it no longer functions the same.  I can't slide to answer anymore for some reason.  Anyone know why?

What is the whole weather section about in the options?
I can't get any weather to work and it seems there is no weather showing in these screen shots above.

Thanks,
