I can download youtube videos with the streaming player. But when i have no signal, and im connected to WiFi i cannot watch the streaming videos? Is this a software problem or is it just not possible?

like when i have no vodafone signal/reception. its just called streaming player. like when i go to youtube and find a video to watch, i click Watch Video and it opens up in some "streaming player" and it doesnt work with WiFi

so weird. and anoying.
